Brewdog Rip Tide: The bottle says it’s a ‘twisted, merciless stout’ – I’ve not their way with words, but they might have a point there. It’s long on the palette with a definite twist in the aftertaste department, a big flavour that cuts straight to the point. Usually I find stouts to be a dessert thing, but this one is not so much like that. Very agreeable though, would go well with some smoked meats and associated nibblies.
